Tens of thousands of people have been able to reverse the worst types of cancer by using dietary principals from naturopathic medicine. In this blog I will give you a protocol to follow if you find yourself face to face with this disease. The first step to healing is to be positive and have faith. Believing that you can and will heal gets you closer to the road to recovery. The second step is the commitment to eat the right kinds of foods, such as herbs, mushrooms and specific veggies until the cancer is gone.

Starting each day with a phytochemical-rich vegetable smoothie (50oz) and eating meals like watercress salads, steamed asparagus and fermented cabbage. One hardboiled egg or sardines are fine but no rice, starches, sweet fruit milk products or sugar. Sugar is the bodies archenemy when it comes to fighting off cancer!

There are seven guidelines in this cancer healing protocol. I will discuss these guidelines weekly and provide a recipe from one of the Qi Gong books I have purchased from Press on Qi Productions.

#1 Mushroom Tonic Water and Immune Boosting AHCC

Curing Cancer

As soon as you rise in the morning, take four 16oz bottles of distilled water and put 1 dropper full of wild reishi into each bottle. Next, put 25 drops of Atlas Agaricus Ekismate in each bottle. If there are financial limitations use the Agaricus Bio which is a slightly lower strength. After all drops are added to water bottles, cap them and shake them. Drink one bottle immediately upon waking/making, along with 8 capsules of AHCC on an empty stomach. Consume the other three bottles periodically spread throughout the day.

*Agaricus Blazei and Reishi Mushroom

These mushrooms are proven safe and are considered the most powerful in regards to strengthening the immune system. They possess powerful anti-cancer and anti-tumor properties.

Cancer/Immune Function Recipe

*”Cream of Shitake” Prep time: 60 min Serves: 4 Coconut Fat Per Serving: 24g

Soup

Ingredients:

2 cup water

2 1⁄2 cups shitake mushroom caps

1 1⁄2 cups black fungus mushrooms, cut

1⁄2 onion

3 cloves garlic

1 1⁄2 cups vegetable broth

1/8 tsp. thyme

1 tsp salt

1⁄4 tsp pepper

1⁄4 cup coconut oil

1 cup coconut milk

Directions:

Saute’ mushrooms, onions, seasonings and garlic in coconut oil over medium high heat for about 10 minutes or until mushrooms soften slightly. Reduce your heat to medium low and add vegetable broth and water. Cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring often. After 20 minutes, add coconut milk and simmer another 10 minutes. Set the soup aside to cool a little, then add to the blender and blend for one cycle. Serve warm.

In my never ending endeavor to stay true to myself and to nature, I have studied many different kinds of plants, herbs and flowers. I have noticed that many people suffer from skin ailments such as psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, warts, and cold sores. Below I will list certain plants, flowers and herbs that may aid in curing these ailments.

Healing Plants for Skin Conditions

Marigold (Calendula Officinalis)

Natural Healing PowersMarigolds are simple to grow and are among the most effective healing plants. They provide a wonderful cure for sores, cuts and most skin lesions. Stock full of antibacterial properties and considered an antiseptic, it also contains tannin, which helps knot wounds together to speed up the healing process. It’s as simple as pressing the juice from fresh flowers and applying the “juice” directly to the skin/ wound. It is also known to help the skin condition known as psoriasis.

Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis)

Aloe VeraAloe Vera is a hassle-free house plant that can be grown in window sills and well lit areas. The gel inside of this pokey plant can be used directly from the plant and applied to the affected area. It has a long history of aiding in the relief of sun burns, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, cuts and minor abrasions. It can also be used on sore gums, mouth ulcers, or to soothe and heal cracked lips.

Celandine (Chelidonium Majus)

Natural Healing PlantsThis plant does wonders for healing warts. Immediately upon picking a stem of Celandine, it will start to ooze a beautiful tangerine-yellow sap. Use Celandine everyday for 3 weeks and watch your warts disappear. (I have had no need to use this plant and cannot give you a personal opinion, but have seen firsthand its healing properties on others and have no problem promoting its ability to heal.)

Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza Glabra)

Natural Healing PlantsThis healing plant is not one to grow yourself, but very useful nonetheless. Glycyrrhizins, the active substances in liquorice are well known for healing many inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and even cold sores. It can also help fight allergies, hepatitis, tumor formation and cancer. There are many different ways to use this plant, so be specific when you are trying to “cure” something in particular. I will definitely be doing more research on this one!

Remember the bliss you feel when your winter-weathered skin feels its first days of warm rays! Remember the agony of a mid-summer sunburn. From one extreme to another, I would like to invite you to bask in the glow of the happy medium known as sun-kissed!

Contrary to popular belief, the sun IS GOOD for you and does not particularly cause cancer! Chemical imbalances, stress and the
wrong diet is what causes cancer. It is actually recommended that
one gets at least thirty minutes of raw sunlight on the whole body daily (preferably with minimal clothing). (Start with ten minutes if you are sensitive to the sun or sit in the sun with clothes on)! The sun has many healing properties and is crucial when fighting disease or illness. It converts cholesterol into vitamin D, which is a micro-nutrient that helps protect you against various types of cancer, as well as psoriasis, osteoporosis, multiple sclerosis, diabetes and other chronic diseases.

The eyes absorb energy from the sun’s light, so wearing sunglasses all of the time limits the opportunity to receive healing energy. Generally, sunglasses should only be worn while driving and prolonged periods of sun exposure. (If your eyes are light sensitive, try to go a few minutes without sunglasses when the sun is low!)

To Screen or not to Screen?

Fair skinned people will burn faster in the sun but they still need to absorb sunlight. If you are going to be in the sun longer than half an hour, it is recommended that you choose a natural sunscreen from the health food store. (It should be applied 10-30 minutes AFTER raw sun time.) The ingredients in mass-produced sunscreens contain heavy metals, aluminum and other toxins that are harmful when absorbed into the body. These chemicals can penetrate deep below the surface of the skin where they act as ‘endocrine disrupters’, which is linked to breast cancer and other hormone related cancers. They also allow solar radiation into the bloodstream where they can create harmful free radicals, which could damage our DNA! Chemical sunscreens may aggravate allergies such as asthma, eczema and other skin problems.  Experts agree sunscreens prevent  skin aging, but not particularly skin cancers.

To Shine Some Light on the Subject…

While there is much debate about the sun and all its pros and cons, only you know you! So soak up some sun, but do not allow yourself to burn! Use all natural sunscreens and sunglasses only when in prolonged periods of sun exposure! Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water! This will help you maintain a healthy sun-kissed glow! Now glow on with your bad self!
